We believe that a PSA 10 Charizard, a CGC 9.5 Pikachu, or a sealed Booster Box shouldn't be out of reach for the average collector. By pooling together with four other collectors on a single break listing, everyone gets a fair shot at ownership — and four out of five participants pay absolutely nothing — the winner gets the card free, and three others are fully refunded.

A "break" on CatchaBreaks is simple: a seller lists a specific graded Pokémon card or sealed product at a set price. That price is divided across five equal spots. Collectors claim spots one by one until all five fill.
When the break is full, two automated random draws run instantly:
Overall, 4 out of 5 collectors walk away paying nothing. The winner gets the card and their spot fee refunded — the card costs them nothing. Three others get their spot fees fully refunded. The one funder's payment goes to the seller. It's the most transparent model in card collecting.
Draws are cryptographically random. Many breaks are live-streamed on Discord so every participant can watch in real time. No hidden mechanics, ever.
Every listing is admin-reviewed before going live. Sellers must submit proof photos and certification numbers. Fakes and misrepresented cards never make it to buyers.
Refunds process automatically the moment the draw runs — directly via PayPal. You don't have to chase anyone. It just happens.

Factory-sealed Pokémon TCG products including Elite Trainer Boxes (ETBs), Booster Boxes, and Ultra Premium Collections (UPCs). All products are verified sealed before approval.
Every listing has a minimum spot price of $20 ($100 total per break) to ensure quality listings.
