CatchaBreaks is a peer-to-peer marketplace where collectors list Pokémon cards, graded slabs, and sealed products for group "breaks." A break has exactly 5 spots. All 5 participants are charged when they claim a spot via PayPal. Once all spots are filled, one entry is selected at random as the winner — they receive the item and their spot payment is refunded (the item costs them nothing). Three other participants are refunded immediately after the draw. One participant ("the funder") has their payment captured — it funds the break and goes to the seller.
Once a draw has been completed and a payer has been selected, that charge is final and non-refundable. If you are selected as the payer, you agree that the charge represents your contribution to funding the break. By entering a spot, you accept this outcome. All other participants (winner and 3 safe entries) receive an automatic refund.
Only the following items may be listed on CatchaBreaks:
Counterfeit, altered, or misrepresented items are strictly prohibited and will result in permanent account termination.
Listers must accurately describe and photograph their item. Upon a successful break, the lister receives a payout equal to the listed price × 1.15 (listed price plus 15%). CatchaBreaks retains a service fee. Listers must ship the item to the winner within 7 business days of a completed break and must communicate via the platform messaging system.
CatchaBreaks charges a service fee on each completed break. The fee is incorporated into the spot price visible before you enter. No hidden fees apply.
If you have a dispute about a break result, contact us at blamx626@gmail.com within 48 hours of the draw. We review all disputes but note that the randomisation process is final.
CatchaBreaks is a marketplace platform and is not responsible for the condition, authenticity, or delivery of items listed by third-party listers. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the relevant transaction.
Laws regarding chance-based purchasing models vary by jurisdiction. By using CatchaBreaks you confirm that participating is legal in your location. CatchaBreaks does not accept entries from residents of jurisdictions where such activity is prohibited.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
