It celebrates the 25th anniversary of Eevee's evolution line, giving every single Eeveelution its own Special Illustration Rare. The set has approximately 147 cards and pulls at higher SIR rates than standard booster boxes.
For card breaks, Prismatic Evolutions is unlike any set before it: eight different types all have legitimately high-value SIR cards, and the Eevee collector demand makes even lower-tier Eeveelutions sell for more than equivalent cards in regular sets.

Psychic is the big winner for multi-card value: both Espeon ex SIR ($60–150) and Sylveon ex SIR ($30–65) are Psychic-type, meaning the Psychic slot holder gets both. Similarly, Water gets both Vaporeon ex SIR ($40–90) and Glaceon ex SIR ($25–55) — making Water a strong secondary slot alongside the Dark/Umbreon chase.
It comes in booster packs (sold individually and in ETBs), but not a standard 36-pack booster box. Most breaks use an Elite Trainer Box (9 packs) or a booster bundle (6 packs). SIR pull rates are higher than standard sets.
